A windy and wet BSPS in Grantham did not dampen the spirits for team Armstrong-small!

The week started off with Rebecca Court winning the Individual Young Judges Competition for area 15 Essex. Rebecca learnt to ride with the Armstrong-smalls over 15 years ago and has been part of the team since. Winning this prestigious competition reflects all the knowledge Rebecca has learnt from Hazel and Justine over the years and got the week off to a good start!

Victoria Myronidis had a very good week with the 5yr old Whalton High Esteem. The pair were 2nd in the BSPS Young SRT of the year. They then produced two foot perfect shows to impress the judges and finish second in the final of the Blue Riband Small Show Riding Type of the Year. A brilliant result for such a young pony who has not been over-shown, this was also a great result for Vicky as it is her last year in intermediates. 

A new member to the team 'Copybush Quizz Kid' had a good week, with Vicky riding Quizz in the part bred arabs they finished a creditable 3rd amongst some strong company. Hannah Levy then rode Quizz to win the BSPS new members ridden Show Hunter Pony class. Hannah and Quizz pulled out all the stops in the championship, giving a lovely individual show and went on to take the BSPS new members championship 2009.
