The hunters go full steam ahead at Herts County
The team headed off to Herts County on the 23rd May, basking in glorious sunshine. It was an early start for the team, with Justine and Kanasas Toddles heading the early Novice Hunter class. This was a fantastic result for Todd, who has so far only been on a handful of outings. Pipers Ovation then went on to stand third in the strong Middleweight class.
The team then looked to the workers, where Mainly Manhattan took third place in the lightweights after jumping a beautiful clear round. The luck continued for Justine, after she and Lord Litchfield jumped a classy round to head the Open Heavyweight Working Hunter and stand Reserve Champion. This is a fantastic result for Matthew, who was only doing his third ever Open working hunter, and again collecting his RIHS ticket. The team will now enjoy a much deserved day of rest, before heading to Surrey County on Bank Holiday Monday. Fingers crossed the sun decides to join us again then!!
