Working Hunter & Show Horses
Success for the team on Easter Monday
A trip to Four Winds on Easter Monday provided a successful day for team Armstrong-Small. Justine started the day well by winning the well participated Novice Working Hunter class with Lord Litchfield, who then went on to finish fourth in the Young Working Hunter, jumping lovely clear rounds in both classes. Matthew then finished his successful day by winning the Middleweight Hunter class, which also qualifies him to compete at the RIHS in July. Justine then went on to jump two great clear rounds in the Open Working Hunter, with both Mainly Manhattan and Piper's Ovation, opting to take Piper's Ovation (Titch) through to the second part of the class, where they finished in third place, and secured their ticket to the RIHS.
Justine also contested the Lightweight Hunter Class with her new ride Kansas Toddles, owned by Justine & Lorraine Buckton. Todd went well on only his second outing with Justine to finish 6th.
